The Historic Silverbow Inn
The Silverbow building contains the oldest operating bakery in the State of Alaska. There has been a bakery here since the 1890's. Now it is the site of the first traditional bagel bakery in Alaska where bagels are first boiled, then baked in a revolving tray oven. Jill and Ken are up early every morning preparing fresh food. They make some of the finest baked goods you will find anywhere including bagels, breads, cookies, and cheesecake. The Silverbow has becomeone of downtown's most popular spots for breakfast and lunch, serving a variety of sandwiches, soups and salads. Summertime, enjoy our outdoor beer garden with views of Juneau's spectacular mountains.
